GUST, as a university, constantly strives to provide its students with all the tools they need for success. The College of Arts and Sciences’ Mass Communication and Media Department was recently awarded a full accreditation by the American Communications Association (ACA). Its Computer Science major has been accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), and the quality of the program is evident in our students winning 1st place at the Gulf Programming Contest last month. Just last year, the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Research (CTLR) was launched to provide workshops for not only GUST faculty, but Kuwait school teachers as well. The college tirelessly works on ensuring the best faculty and curriculum for its students through these accreditations and community projects.
